The materials in this collection represent the activities of the Sam Houston Rotary Club of Huntsville,Texas. The collection content consists of meeting minutes, newspaper clippings and photographs. Photographs depicting various club activities and events account for the majority of the materials in this collection.

The scrapbook, complied by Sam Houston Normal Institute and Sam Houston State Teachers College faculty member Augusta Lawrence, is comprised of 117 pages of newspaper clippings, photographs, and printed materials covering faculty changes, community deaths, notable events, and ex-student/alumni and faculty/staff accomplishments from 1929-1940.

This scrapbook contains materials spanning March 1929-Febuary 1930 related to Sam Houston State Teacher’s College (SHSTC) Semi-Centennial Celebration, the Dedication and Formal Opening of the Harry F. Estill Library, and the Dedication of the Sam Houston Memorial Museum. It contains newspaper articles from regional newspapers, programs, ads, letters, telegrams, poems, and other paper material.

This collection contains materials pertaining to the Stovall family of Houston, Texas. Series 1 features materials related to the Stovall family’s Masonic activities. Series 2 contains personal and educational materials from Pamela Stovall’s childhood, and Series 3 contains photographs and oversized items.

This collection contains ephemera related to the Huntsville Study Club. It includes a brief history of the club, newspaper clippings, yearly programs, ledger books, scrapbooks, and other miscellaneous materials.
