Scope and Contents
This collection is comprised of 21 pages of scrapbook material, six Sam Houston State Teachers College (SHSTC) event programs, two pages of sheet music, a 1986 Bearkat Football Magazine, a framed photograph, and a lithograph of old main.
The scrapbook materials are composed of newspaper article clippings, programs, photographs, and correspondences relating to the 1980 Ex-Lettermen Association Hall of Honor Induction Banquet.

Biographical / Historical
Sam Houston State University played Montana State on September 13, 1986, at the Bearkat Stadium in Huntsville, Texas. This game and its activities served as the dedication of the new Bearkat Stadium.
The stadium is now called the Elliott T. Bowers Stadium.
