Scope and Contents
This collection is comprised of 21 pages of scrapbook material, six Sam Houston State Teachers College (SHSTC) event programs, two pages of sheet music, a 1986 Bearkat Football Magazine, a framed photograph, and a lithograph of old main.
The scrapbook materials are composed of newspaper article clippings, programs, photographs, and correspondences relating to the 1980 Ex-Lettermen Association Hall of Honor Induction Banquet.

Physical Description
"Athletes Honored" is a front and back page torn from a newsletter. It features seven black-and-white photographs from the Hall of Honor Induction Banquet. The photos on the front include a group shot of the four inductees (Kenneth Daw, Carlo Gott, Roberty "Bobby" Bruce Baldwin, D.H. "Cotton' Watkins), a photo of Meredith York presenting the Athletic Director James Chase a donation to the Bearkat Booster Club, and a photo of Mr. and Mrs. York and James Chase. The photos on the back feature each of the inductees at the podium after receiving their award.
