This collection is comprised of 21 pages of scrapbook material, six Sam Houston State Teachers College (SHSTC) event programs, two pages of sheet music, a 1986 Bearkat Football Magazine, a framed photograph, and a lithograph of old main.

The scrapbook materials are composed of newspaper article clippings, programs, photographs, and correspondences relating to the 1980 Ex-Lettermen Association Hall of Honor Induction Banquet.

The Gay Family Papers (1951-1975; one legal folder) include biographical information on Mary L. Gay,who was an early teacher in Huntsville, Texas. The collection also contains the Gay Family Tree,correspondence from Salome Gay Long, and documents on Southern Genealogy.

This collection is made up of twenty-five black and white photographs, a Sam Houston Normal Institute Diploma, a Sam Houston Normal Institute Commencement program, and a signed pillow cover from Lula Myrtle Teague Cox's childhood.

The materials in this box are made up of personal photographs, a Sam Houston Normal Institute panoramic class photograph, a newspaper article clipping, SHNI Manual Training Building postcard, S.R. Warner's progress report on his research about plant foods for quail in Southeast Texas, two German language related books, and S.R. Warner's diploma and license of instruction from the College of William and Mary.
