Scope and Contents The Huntsville Sanborn Map Collection contains Sanborn maps of the Huntsville area from 1885, 1896, 1930, and 1912. The Sanborn maps from 1912 are in a bounded book, and the other Sanborn maps are loose copies. The collection also contains a scanned and printed copy of the "Description and Utilization of The Sanborn Map," a narrative of the history, development, and use of Sanborn maps.
